The Olympics in RTP

Olympic Rings in RTP

This is a view from the fifth floor conference room of the courtyard between buildings one and two at the Lenovo site in Morrisville NC, the heart of the Research Triangle Park.

Last week the Olympic ring symbol manifested itself in the courtyard. The green ring is parsley, the rest being flowers or plants with colored foliage.

  What's Going On? I can't say welcome back to you, because I'm the one who has been gone. I was gone for years focusing on my software UX/Design work for Lenovo. But in Jan this year, 2022 - holy cow 2022 - I retired from softwareland. I am now ready to indulge my less linear side. But, the design process is both linear and iterative, like the creation of art. Art is where my head and heart are now. Always the answer was "no time." Now I have time, space and tons of materials I've collected over the years to turn into things that I've always wanted to see. Trees
